Tengger Cavalry
Tengger Cavalry
Tengger Cavalry, the nomadic Mongolian folk metal group whose exotic sound has been praised by outlets ranging from Metal Hammer and Terrorizer to Billboard and CNN – has signed with M-Theory Audio. The band's new album is expected to be released in June and will be supported by a five-week North American tour and performances at several European summer festivals. Further details will be revealed in the coming weeks.

M-Theory Audio is the new label recently launched by Marco Barbieri, former president of Century Media Records and Nuclear Blast America.

Barbieri says, “Tengger Cavalry is one of the most unique new bands, and I've been impressed how Nature Ganganbaigal and the group developed themselves to this point independently. By teaming up with an old friend, Dawn Robinson, as management and now working with us at M-Theory Audio, I'm excited by the upward possibilities the future holds and the fun and breakthroughs possible with their themes and great music.”

TENGGER CAVALRY frontman Nature Ganganbaigal adds, “To work with Marco, who was an integral part of Century Media, and M-Theory Audio is Tengger Cavalry's greatest honor. We are excited to bring on our next ‘raid’ together with the mighty M-Theory!”

One of the most unique and innovative acts in modern music, Tengger Cavalry (“the army of the sky god” in Mongolian) blends the nomadic musical traditions, instrumentation and warrior spirit of Central Asia with the aggression and power of heavy metal. The group was founded by Nature Ganganbaigal, who sings using the ancient Mongolian tradition of Khoomei (more commonly known as throat-singing) and plays multiple native instruments, including the Morin Khuur (an ancient fiddle), the Tovshuur (a Mongolian guitar) and the Mongolian flute.

Following Ganganbaigal's relocation to America four years ago, Tengger Cavalry has successfully completed two headlining tours and even sold out a performance at New York City's prestigious Carnegie Hall.

In the studio, meanwhile, the group's output has been prodigious – since forming in 2010, they've released four full-length albums, two EPs and numerous singles, including unique cover interpretations of metal classics. In January, Dave Mustaine retweeted the group's cover of “Symphony of Destruction,” while the previous month, the official Motörhead Facebook page reposted their rendition of “Fight.”
Felix Martin
Felix Martin is a Venezuelan guitarist who is pioneering a style of playing the electric guitar by performing simultaneously with two of them as if they were one, creating a new sound on the instrument.

Felix is pushing music into new boundaries by mixing Rock and Metal with different styles such as Jazz, Progressive, World, Latin, Fusion, etc. The uniqueness of his guitars and technique allows him to create distinguished sounds that makes the music sound unique.

Felix has toured with his band that includes Berklee Alumni drummers and bassist Kilian Duarte throughout the USA, Europe and South America. Played in festivals such as Progressive Nation, SXSW, Euroblast, Tech-Fest and many more.

Felix uses his self-designed 14 and 16-string guitars, which are two regular guitars in one, in a way never seen or heard before. This opens up a new and hidden world for the electric guitar and instrumental music. Felix pioneered this style of playing at the age of 13, and as of 2014, he remains the only one in the world who plays this way.

Felix Martin and his band are currently recording a highly anticipated self-titled album, as well as touring around the release date.
Helsott
Helsott
Formed in February 2010, Helsott is America's answer to the extremely popular Pagan Metal genre. Musically, Helsott incorporates many different styles and genres, always keeping a fresh and enjoyable listen that doesn't get stale. The diverse music is centered on the Pagan Themed lyrics which unite the album as a whole.

Helsott's popularity has been growing at an extremely rapid rate. After quickly becoming heroes in the Southern California region, promoters in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Orange County markets quickly took notice of the work ethic and draw of the band, and rewarded Helsott with their choice of touring acts to support.

These great opportunities were seized by the band sky-rocketing their popularity regionally, and placing the band on the radar of Rock the Nation USA, who offered the band a spot on the popular "Paganfest 2013" lineup which they were the only North American act on the entire North American tour in support of Ensiferum, Tyr, Heidevolk, and Trollfest. Knowing the value of this opportunity, Helsott seized the moment, and made sure to take advantage of the crowds they would be performing in front of. The EP, Folkvangr sold out of all copies very soon on tour, and merchandise sales were impressive every night of the tour, forcing early supply reorders.

The demand for a full-length Helsott album was great, so they developed a successful crowdfunding campaign via indiegog to fund the album. They were able to raise over $7000! With "Woven" now complete, Helsott is looking to cement their presence in the halls of metal, and looking to ally them-selves with a reputable record label to help attain the international recognition to help nurture the environment for a successful band.
