The Velveteins
The Velveteins
The Velveteins are a rock n' roll band consisting of members Spencer Morphy (vocals/guitar), Addison Hiller (percussion) and Dean Kheroufi (bass) originally from Edmonton, Canada. Their style of heavy guitar pop has translated into raucous and energetic live shows across Canada, America, and the UK opening for larger acts such as July Talk, Elephant Stone, USS and Milo Greene. Signed to Fierce Panda Canada the group is set to release new music produced by Colin Stewart (Dan Mangan, Sleepy Sun, Black Mountain) in.

Formed by front man Spencer Morphy The Velveteins were officially realized in the summer of 2014 after his return from time spent vagabonding around Australia. The band’s self recorded debut soon caught the ear of Cage The Elephant’s Lincoln Parish who produced the follow up EP “A Hot Second with The Velveteins” in Nashville. After returning the band inked a deal with the Canadian expansion of UK record label Fierce Panda and released “A Hot Second” to the world in May of 2016. Following the release was a 30-date tour across three countries which included stops at The Great Escape in Brighton, London, Toronto, and Los Angeles. The music video for the lead single "Hanging From The Ceiling" was featured in heavy rotation on Much Music while “Shimmy Shake” won an EMA for Pop Recording of the Year and “Baby Blue” was featured on American T.V. series Kingdom.

T-Rextasy
T-Rextasy formed in 2013 during their senior year of high school in New York City. In May 2016, they released Jurassic Punk, their first LP on Father/Daughter Records and Miscreant Records. The colorful, garage-surf debut received praise from NPR, MTV, Stereogum, and a single, "Gap Yr Boiz," was featured on a Rolling Stone list as #13 on Rob Sheffield's Top 25 Songs of 2016.

"T-Rextasy is one of the most exciting live bands coming out of Brooklyn’s ever-expanding DIY scene, mainly because they don’t sound like any of their peers."
