Band Aparte
Band Aparte
Employing a brooding blend of nervy post-punk and beachy West Coast goth rock, Los Angeles-based Band Aparte is the brainchild of Brian Mendoza. Inspired by seminal underground bands like Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, the Cure, Echo & the Bunnymen, Sonic Youth, and New Order, the band's clever pairing of gloomy darkwave and big pop hooks eventually landed them at L.A. indie label Manifesto Records.
Glass Spells
Glass Spells

Bringing their mosaic arrangement of funky bass lines, dance beats and piercing synths in tow with the inclusion of edgy female vocals.Originally from Calexico and now with members in San Diego CA.The band - Anthony Spells and Suz Gonzalez , along with Michael Rascon and Mallory Garcia formed late 2013 with their first release July 2014. Glass spells have won the attention of many by it's characteristic sound which incorporates several elements from post punk, disco and funk to create rhythms that will not get out of your head.

Low Points
Low Points are a quintessentially Southern California band. Mixing the sing along choruses of bands like Weezer with the sugary, DGAF surf fuzz of early WAVVES, Low Points’ debut EP ’Feels’ is bursting with stony slacker punk hooks. Led by songwriter Kevin Vega (Space Heat) and consisting of Jakob McWhinney (Space Heat, Ex-The Soaks, Spooky Cigarette), Frank Mindingall (Ale Mania, Northern Tigers, Spooky Cigarette) and Jeremy Hoover, Low Points are a fresh and honest take on garage pop.

The band balance surf rock rhythms and hard-hitting guitar riffs with deeply personal lyrics dealing with alienation and depression to create a sound that is at once catchy and haunting. Their four song debut, ‘Feels’ bounds from influences like the gritty garage pop of Mike Krol, pseudo emo-revival of Cloud Nothings to the surf punk of Tijuana Panthers, all the while maintaining a unique and memorable voice.
