San Diego-based brutalizing metal quintet CAVE BASTARD – comprised of ex/current members of Cattle Decapitation, Gutrot, Ritual Torture, Bridge Jumper, Temblad, and others – has completed harnessing the grinding, blackened scourge of their debut LP, The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth, set for release through Accident Prone Records in late March.

The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth was captured in October 2016 at Audio Design Studios in San Diego, recorded and mixed by legendary engine-ear, Billy Anderson (Neurosis, Brutal Truth, Cattle Decapitation) with assistant engineer Jordan Andreen, mastered at Trakworx by Justin Weis, and completed with artwork by Varises Otak.

CAVE BASTARD will issue The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth on LP and digital formats on March 23rd via Accident Prone, who also released the band’s split with BLK-OPS in August 2017.

Three-and-a-half years in the making, the debut full-length dark vision of CAVE BASTARD is ready to be unleashed. The album combines the band’s bleak imagery and outlook with devastatingly brutal riffs and earthmoving rhythms which set the tone for a voyage into the apocalypse. Featuring eight new songs bearing titles such as “Massacre Reaction,” “Trapped In A World Of Formlessness,” and “Purity Through Oblivion,” CAVE BASTARD draws you in to their void of chaos. CAVE BASTARD is the manifestation of atrocities, inhumanities, and corruption, and The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth is the first chapter in their tale of torment.

CAVE BASTARD has just announced the addition of their new drummer Marlon Matthew (Temblad) who replaces longtime drummer Steve Reed, joining vocalist Steve Pearce, bassist Troy Oftedal (ex-Cattle Decapitation, Piglife), and guitarists Nick Padron and Chase Ferguson (both formerly of Bridge Jumper). The revamped lineup’s first show will take place on February 15th supporting Mammoth Grinder at a hometown show. Additional tour dates are to be expected shortly and throughout the year.

Steve Pearce – vocals
Nick Padron – guitars
Chase Ferguson – guitars
Troy Oftedal – bass
Marlon Matthew – drums
Nukem is a Thrash metal trio from San Diego, California, that delivers an honest, old school thrash attack.

Formed in 2012, Nukem has been hitting it hard while opening for metal giants such as Kreator, Death Angel, Saxon, Soulfly, Metal Church, Voivod, Marty Friedman & LeatherWolf, as well as promising up and comers like Havok, King Parrot & Green Death.

Although Nukem is a new band, the musicians are seasoned. Steve Brodgen (vocals, guitar), Norm Leggio (drums) and an ex-guitarist Dave Garcia played together in the power metal extraordinaire Cage. Norm has a lengthy career with progressive metal heroes Psychotic Waltz.

The debut album "The Unholy Trinity" was completely mixed & mastered by Ulrich Wild (Pantera, Static X, Dethklok, White Zombie) and is out now via Sleaszy Rider Records out of Greece.

Special guest solos appear on the album from thrash metal greats Craig Locicero (Forbidden/Dress The Dead) & Jimmy Durkin (Dark Angel) as well as super shredders Laura Christine (Warface, Zimmer's Hole) & Reece Scruggs (Havok).
Formed in 2010 by two friends Ally Levine and Dylan Marks, Beekeeper rises from a mutual love and sincere respect for heavy music.

Bonding over classic albums such as Slayer’s “Show No Mercy” and Sepultura’s “Arise,” Beekeeper was inspired to create and play music that was influenced by their favorite aspects of metal. This accelerated the bands efforts and by early in 2011the duo began playing local house-shows and bars throughout the San Diego area.

Multi-instrumentalist Adam Wollach joined Beekeeper in 2013 as their full-time bassist. This three-piece was finally ready to shred with the complete sound they had always envisioned.

It didn’t take long for Beekeeper to ignite the local underground metal scene, where they have been bringing their high-energy performance to increasingly bigger stages including several shows with international touring bands like Cattle Decapitation, Brujeria and Warbringer.

Beekeeper’s songs are based on life experiences and their twisted imagination. Forged over many late-night writing sessions, their songs are delivered by Levine’s dynamic vocals and sinister guitar-work in concert with Wollach’s intricate accompaniment and Marks’ powerful drive and technical prowess.

In 2015 Beekeeper entered the studio to begin recording their first studio album, the full-length “Slaves to the Nothing.” With its upcoming release, the trio has plans for a 2017 tour. This aggressive, dynamic and innovative album will push Beekeeper into another zone and will be a huge step in their evolutionary quest to bring their unique sound and old-school style to the world.
