Lead Pony
Early 2017, in lower California, close friends Hillary Laughery, Jesse Hofstee, and Dylan Stallard formed Rock-Roll band “Lead Pony” over Singapore Slings and blood high fives. The band brings you guitar music that’s rooted in heat and fever, looking to the early days of rhythm and blues and transforming it with intention to melt into your ears. Take a chance on Lead Pony, and Lead Pony will hold your hand into the fog.

The Mondegreens
The Mondegreens is a group of five Seattle-based musicians, carving out a niche in the city’s prolific indie rock scene, one that centers on wide dynamic swings and ever present three-part harmonies. The group’s two frontmen, David Friedlander and Russell Rabut, draw on over a decade of singing together, spinning harmonic webs across the peaks and valleys of the group’s vibrant sound, their voices as likely to combine over a selection from Neil Young’s back catalog, as a slacker rock anthem from their youth.

Raised in the small college town of Chico, CA, original members, Friedlander (bass) and Rabut (guitar), founded the band amidst the throes of a wild 2013 Christmas party. Along with drummer, Scotty Jenkins, the group toured the western U.S. for three years, before leaving their hometown, in favor of Seattle’s fertile ground. Since the relocation, the lineup has expanded to include accompanists, Joe Davis (guitar), and Noah Kapioski (keyboard), both of whom draw on classical backgrounds.

In late 2016, the band released their second studio album, “A Passing Phrase,” a diverse collection of original songs that culminates in their guitar-driven take on the haunting Elliott Smith classic, ‘Twilight,’ recorded at Phil Elverum’s (The Microphones, Mount Eerie) beautiful Anacortes, WA studio, The Unknown. 2016 also saw the Mondegreens sharing the stage with Avi Buffalo, Brothers Comatose, Jelly Bread, Rainbow Girls, and Marty O’Reilly. As the new year warms up, you will find them howling and stomping their feet across stages from festivals to living rooms, and everything in between.
