Black Pool
Black Pool
Black Pool is the musical expression of 24 year old vagabond, Max Lindberg. Hailing from Long Beach, CA, Max grew up in a city that’s at once both a mellow beach town and a multicutural mecca. Growing up surfing and with weekend bonfires on the beach contributed to Black Pool’s laid back sound. The type of records you put on just to chill.

After releasing three EP’s over 2017-2018, Max relocated to Panama and Nicaragua in 2018 where he spent his time giving surf lessons and playing at venues and hotels for locals and tourists alike with sets sometimes creeping north of five hours long.

His music has struck a chord with the bedroom pop scene as he’s a constant mainstay on many influential Spotify playlists that has taken him over ten million streams entirely as an independent. This is a testament to his storytelling, songwriting, and his voice which is raw and transcendent.

Now back in the USA, Black Pool has already sold out the front room at House of Blues San Diego, and is writing and recording for his first 2019 release out soon via Feltone Music.
RORRE
RORRE
Rorre is a nostalgic rock band born in San Diego and raised by the city’s very own legends of the music industry. The members have been dreaming up their passions together since before they could play music, and their history as mates-before-music is what makes Rorre so electric.

Their love for various genre’s, their passion for growth and hunger for creating honest and vulnerable music all began together almost a decade ago. They’ve cut their teeth on each other, and now they’re ready to share their music with you.

Impressed with their potential, local legendary San Diego rock band Switchfoot offered them their private studio to record their inaugural E.P. “Songs in Transit.” The mates were then able to call upon the talented Jesse Dorman of the band Hawai to produce their record. Dorman, who has worked with Tyson Motsenbocker, Almost Monday, Scott Ruth, J. Thoven and many more, helped bring out exactly what Rorre needed to say to the world. And with the finishing touches of Tanner Sparks, who sports an impressive engineering resume including Switchfoot, Jon Foreman and Weezer, Rorre’s music was only ever going to be a sound that demanded to be heard.

Listen to Rorre and you will hear a powerful and familiar sound that takes you on a journey throughout musical history. If Songs in Transit were a dish, it’s recipe would call for music from all genre’s and its flavor would remind you of bands like Oasis, Radiohead, Tom Petty and many others. Their newest single, “You Never Say Goodbye,” is a perfect example of a song that reminds of us the great era of 90’s rock and roll (release date for the single is April 2019).

See Rorre play and you will be invited into the love and appreciation the mates have for each other, for music, and for you. Giving everything is important to this group, and Rorre’s energy both on-stage, and off-stage are what set them apart. There is no ego here, even if there should be. Instead there is just passion, hunger, appreciation, and love.
